Pieces are available to order ‘ready-to-wear’ in standard sizes and are locally made to order. Due to our locality and dynamic team, we are able to accept orders a minimum of four months in advance of your wedding date.

Trained in fashion design in South Africa, Wendy has been designing and making bridal gowns and evening wear since 2005. A specific focus on sustainable bridal fashion design culminated in the completion of her Master’s Degree thesis and continues to inspire her design ethos. Art history, architecture, the natural world, and traditional handcrafts, are among the main sources of inspiration for Wendy’s work. Preferring to work concept and fabric choices first; Wendy’s approach to each collection is a process of sketching and toiling; finalising the details and trims during prototype fittings.
Liz completed her fashion diploma in the UK and worked in both London, designing for high street brands such as H&M and Top Shop, and France before coming to Australia with her husband Herve. Liz has been designing for Calèche Bridal House for over 25 years and has worked as head designer for the past 20 years.
